Man. I love Jamie Smart. He’s better than doughnuts. Meat doughnuts. That’s my idea for a new fast food chain, ‘meat doughnuts’, there’d be loads of crazy flavours like donner kebab, sunday lunch, ham and cheese, turkey and stuffing (only at christmas obviously) … I’ll stop now …
I was struck by the same initial (and as you say) baseless theory; but the Curb logo is (I believe) a Möbius Strip which also reflects the mathematical sign for Infinity. Which is rather natty; but not usually much to do with the number 8!
Possibly worth a ponder, though, (and some wildly inaccurate guesswork) is why the name “Curb”?!?
Next stop the land of conflict diamonds

I would invest in that 🙂
Totally worth it, Jamie is one of the best there is! Can’t wait to see where he takes us.
PS, I would eat at ‘Meat Doughnuts’ robinwilliamscott.
Holy cow … Meat Doughnuts is ON! It needs a catchier name though …
OK, I believe this is the appropriate juncture to start spouting wacky baseless fan theories about future strips.
So, without further ado…
That Curb logo looks rather like an 8 on its side, doesn’t it?

Was going to say the same thing about it being the infinity symbol – good catch about the Mobius strip though, explains the 3D/twisty ends…
CURB stands for? Corporate Urban Warfare? hmmm….
hahaha take every 8th letter (excluding the number 8 and including the first W as both a letter and as the count of one) and it spells “War”
